We're gearing up for a second annual Quizlet Unconference, which we'll be hosting August 1st and 2nd. Sound interesting? You can sign up today to attend.

What is an unconference, you might ask? It's an unconventional gathering of people who are all focused on sharing and learning from each other. Unconferences are unconventional in the sense that they don't have to involve traveling hundreds of miles to attend. Plus, you don't have to wear a suit and tie or business pantsuit. Perhaps most important: It doesn't have to cost a lot of money.

Our upcoming unconference is entirely virtual and free and has no dress code. You can show up in shorts and flip flops and no one will ever know. It's an excellent opportunity to learn how best to use Quizlet in the classroom, and you'll hear from fellow teachers, Quizlet staff, and our partners about how you can expertly use Quizlet in your classroom this coming school year. You'll walk away with some insider tips and tricks, creative Quizlet Live ideas, and a PD certificate to prove you're a Quizlet pro.

Suggestions and Call for Submissions

All of our speakers and topics aren't fully locked in yet. In fact, we want to hear from you before finalizing the schedule. We invite you to share your Unconference 2018: Questions and Suggestions with us. Want to speak at the unconference? If you're an expert at Quizlet or Quizlet Live, we have a few slots set aside for guest speakers. Head to our Call for Submissions form and tell us what you can bring to the party.

Know someone who would be a good speaker or a teacher who might want to attend? Please help us get the word out by sharing on social media.

Do I need any special technology to attend?

Not really. You can download an app to your computer or phone or tablet and join the unconference that way, but we also are looking into an option of broadcasting it on YouTube or Facebook Live. We'll have all the details once we've finalized the event. We'll send that information to everyone who signs up.

I won't be able to attend that day. Will it be recorded?

Yes! We plan to record some or all of the event and make it available on our YouTube channel.
