Teacher Quick-start Guide: Quizlet Fundamentals
Check out the recommendations below to start using Quizlet in your classroom and see what your students will experience when studying on our website and mobile apps.
Find study sets
There are millions of study sets on Quizlet created by students and teachers. To search for content, go to the Quizlet homepage and select the magnifying glass icon. Then, type the topic you're teaching — the more specific the better! Press Enter to see results.
You'll see a preview of the first four terms in a set on the search results page. To see all of the terms and definitions in a set, select the title.
Quizlet offers five study modes and two games that help students review whatever they're looking to learn. iOS and Android apps. Students can study in class or at home, and it's free for students and teachers to sign up.
Share content with your students
Every set page has a Share option, which you can use to send sets to your students by email.
You can also copy the link to a set and post it on your class website or in the LMS used at your school. Your students don't need a Quizlet account to see or study sets.
Sign up for a free account
Go to the Quizlet homepage and select Sign up.
If you have a Gmail email address or a Google Apps for Education account, we recommend signing up with Google. Otherwise, choose a username and password and sign up that way.

Once you've signed up, you can create folders to organize your content and create classes to share sets with all of your students at once.
Plus, you'll be able to use our Copy tool to save sets created by others to your account so you can modify them.
